The Car That Won The Race With No Wheels
Did you hear about the car that won the race with no wheels? This car’s name was Josh. He was a very resilient car throughout his life. Here’s his story.
The first wheel was shot off by violent cars in the streets of Alabama where Josh was traveling. Two cars, two shots to the wheel. But he rolled on with that one wheel missing and still had hope. Josh couldn’t get it fixed because he didn’t have enough money.
The next wheel was lost because it deflated. Josh made some bad decisions and took some drugs. Josh regrets it to this day. Josh couldn’t get it fixed because he didn’t have enough money.
The next one was lost because it was rotten. This tire was rotten because of all the pollution around the world. Josh always felt like it was a need to save the world through recycling and now it has affected him and his environment. Josh couldn’t get it fixed because he didn’t have enough money.
The last was taken off because off because of cancer. Josh had over heation. Josh took it off himself because the pain was to bad. Josh thought he could push through but he was crying, so he made a decision that affects him his whole life. Josh couldn’t get it fixed because he didn’t have enough money.
This was a detriment throughout Josh’s life. Josh pushed through though. Yeah, Josh had cancer and no money, but Josh lived. Yeah, Josh’s tire rotted because of pollution and had no money, but Josh lived. Yeah, Josh took some drugs and it deflated his tire while having no money to fix it, but he has recovered and still lived. Yeah, Josh was shot in the tire and they had to take it off and STILL didn’t have enough money to fix it, Josh lived.
This car was okay with dealing with the consequences because Josh knew that he would at some point Josh would get a shot. All Josh needed was one shot, to get to the finish line. He knew it wasn't easy.
Josh saw all the other cars looking at him weirdly. It was a little awkward at the moment and he was feeling singled out. Josh was still going to race with pride. Josh knew that it was Josh’s shot.
They were talking behind Josh’s back saying that there is no way that Josh could even move.
They laughed, taunting Josh saying "try to catch me.”
He hated the fact that they wouldn't believe in him. That didn't stop Josh though. He knew what Josh did have that no one noticed. He had an engine. This was the only thing that he cared about. This was Josh’s key to be able to make it over the finish line. Josh had no wheels but the engine pushed Josh to the finish line.
Josh came in first, this race was a marathon. The other cars were amazed by how Josh made it over. you see this car didn’t have all the resources like the other cars. He didn’t have the money or they didn’t have cancer. They didn’t get shot like he did. Their tire didn’t rot off or deflate because of drugs and pollution. But his engine was bigger than anyone’s out there. That’s what got him to the finish line.
In the middle of this race, he went to college and had a good job. He had 1 kid car. A boy that has gone to college on a half and half scholarship for school and tire ball. He had a happily married wife.
This race was no regular race, this race was life.
